Hanwha Vision Unveils AI-Powered Security Solutions at Intersec Dubai 2024

Hanwha Vision Booth SA-E25 at Intersec 2024

Hanwha Vision, a global vision solution provider, will unveil its extensive portfolio of AI-powered security solutions at Intersec Dubai 2024 (January 16th-18th, booth SA-E25).

Intersec stands as the world’s premier annual trade fair for the security and safety sectors, offering a comprehensive showcase of the latest trends and technologies under one roof. This year, the event is expected to draw over 1,000 global security companies from more than 55 countries, converging to share innovative security solutions with a global audience.

Formerly known as Hanwha Techwin, the company underwent a rebranding in March 2023 to signify its ambitious expansion beyond video surveillance. With a renewed vision, Hanwha Vision will be presenting its comprehensive suite of AI-powered vision solutions at Intersec, designed to provide deeper insights and enhance business operations.

Hanwha Vision, moreover, will introduce its new and innovative products, leveraging AI to deliver enhanced security capabilities.

– AI PTZ Camera (XNP-C9310R): This camera boasts a revolutionary “Quick Zoom and Focus” feature, enabling users to instantly navigate to the desired monitoring area. Improved ingress protection, high resolution (4MP/8MP), enhanced preset accuracy, and powerful IR up to 300 meters further enhance its performance.

– 4CH AI Mini Multi-Directional Camera (PNM-16013RVQ): With a compact design (only 20 cm in diameter), this camera seamlessly blends into diverse environments such as banks, retail stores, schools, and hospitals. Its AI-powered capabilities minimize false alarms by accurately detecting people and vehicles in real-time.

“From establishing our AI lab in 2019 to pioneering edge AI capabilities in our security cameras, Hanwha Vision has consistently revolutionized security and video surveillance landscape with cutting-edge technology,” said Nam Sik Yoon, Managing Director of Hanwha Vision MEA FZE. “We are now hyper-focused on delivering practical functionalities that address real-world needs. The Middle East and North Africa region, with its diverse security needs, is the perfect stage to showcase our industry-leading AI-powered surveillance solutions.”

The array of products and solutions that will be featured at Intersec includes:

Powerful AI PTZ
PTZ Plus cameras, powered by AI, enable real-time detection and classification of people, faces, vehicles, and license plates. This allows for efficient filtering of irrelevant objects, focusing only on pertinent information for precise analysis and maximized search effectiveness. PTZ Plus employs a built-in wiper to eliminate water or dust, minimizing the impact of external environments and securing clear and vivid images. The Quick Zoom and Quick Focus features help operators navigate quickly to their desired surveillance area.

Multi-Sensor lineups
Hanwha Vision‘s multi-sensor cameras, equipped with multiple sensors, effectively monitor wide areas with just a single device. Its multi-directional cameras can simultaneously monitor multiple directions without any blind spots. Installing multi-sensor cameras reduces the cost of system installation and maintenance while successfully monitoring wide areas.

Solution for Clean & Safe Communities
Up to 4 units of Hanwha Vision’s 4K AI camera, PNV-A9081R, installed on a garbage truck, detect fallen waste in real-time, such as bulk waste, green waste, sand, water, and signboards to keep the city clean. Hanwha Vision’s 16CH NVR has a built-in modem for real-time monitoring of connected cameras. Operators can monitor a large number of devices installed in remote areas from a single control center, displaying the health status of the devices and real-time event notifications.

ANPR Solution
The Road AI, equipped with edge-based AI technology, offers optimized solutions for traffic management. It features accurate Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and Make, Model, Color Recognition (MMCR). Powerful AI deep learning algorithms enable recognition of vehicle brands, models, and colors. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) processing converts BestShot images of license/number plates into machine-readable text and numbers. Vehicle classification includes seven types: Car, SUV, Van, LCV, Truck, Bus, Motorcycle, and data collection of driving directions. The solution supports license plates of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
