Hanwha Techwin launches 15MP Panoramic Camera

Hanwha Techwin,
launches 15MP Panoramic Camera

Global security company Hanwha Techwin launches 15megapixel multi-sensor panoramic camera.
Hanwha Techwin’s PNM-9030V camera, newly released, adopts four high resolution 5-megapixel sensors. Its most significant advantage is that it can seamlessly connect videos from each sensor through the stitching function, thus enabling monitoring of a single 180° video.
The stitching function connects each image taken from the multi-sensors to create one continuous image for convenient monitoring at a glance. It uses standard lenses instead of wide-angle lenses to remove image distortion. This makes it highly useful for precision monitoring of wide areas such as parking lots, airports, or downtown plazas.
The camera is equipped with 4.0mm fixed focal lenses and supports a wide FOV up to 180° left and right and 220° up and down. The camera lenses can thus be moved at the same time without adjusting the FOV of multi-sensors to easily control the FOV.
In addition, various Intelligent Video Analytics functions such as motion detection, loitering detection, and tampering in panorama videos can be used to freely set and detect video information that the user wants to see. One of this camera’s other advantages is that it allows you to separately save videos from each sensor using the multi-streaming function. You can secure the original videos before stitching without any damage or distortion to them.
It also acquired IP66 dust·water resistance certification and IK10 impact resistance certification for all-weather video monitoring, even if installed outside.
An official from Hanwha Techwin said, “With the launch of this panoramic camera, high resolution precision monitoring has become possible without image distortion in wide-area environments. We expect that users will be highly satisfied by its performance.”
