The Town of Rixheim, 76 cameras in place to combat delinquency

Rixheim is a French commune located in the North-East of the Alsace region. Situated 5 kilometres from the centre of Mulhouse, in Basel, and the point of intersection of Strasbourg and Mulhouse, the commune of Rixheim is home to 13,750 residents.
The town of Rixheim is equipped with Wisenet cameras to ensure better safety of citizens and goods from disorderly conduct, thefts and damage, delinquency and illegal drug trade. Thanks to the installation of a full video surveillance system, the town of Rixheim has seen a 50% decrease in urban violence.
