Official Announcement: Changes to Wisenet SSM Free License Distribution

Dear Wisenet SSM Users,

Thank you for your continued interest and support for Wisenet SSM.

We are writing to inform you in advance that, as part of our long-term VMS operation strategy, we will be discontinuing the online distribution of the free 16CH recording license for SSM.

To minimize confusion and ensure a smoother transition, please take note of the important information below.

1. Discontinuation of SSM Free License Online Page
   
   The final date for the removal of the free license online distribution page is as follows:
   • Final Deletion Date: Monday, November 24, 2025 (KST)Existing Licenses: Already issued SSM free licenses will remain valid and functional until Q2 of 2026.Scope: This deletion applies to both SSM v1.6 and v2.0. The installation file download for v1.6 will also be removed.
2. Policy Change for NVR Viewer Functionality
   
   To ensure user convenience, the NVR Viewer function will be enabled for use without a license (effective from SSM v2.19.02 and later versions). Customers using SSM for the NVR Viewer purpose can utilize this function freely without additional cost or complex license authentication.

This decision is aimed at providing a more stable and efficient video security environment for all our customers.
