To address these needs, more than 80 Hanwha Vision cameras were deployed throughout the area, with the majority being PNM-9085RQZ1 multi-sensor models. These provide extended panoramic coverage while reducing the number of devices required. Installed particularly at intersections, the cameras allow detailed analysis of traffic conditions and driver behavior. High-traffic areas benefit from enhanced monitoring, while city entrances are equipped with PNO-A9311R Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems, activated only upon judicial request or within the scope of investigations.
The choice of Hanwha’s multi-sensor cameras was driven by their high image quality, optimal coverage, and reduced footprint. The deployment was carried out without the use of artificial intelligence, in compliance with current restrictions, and in strict accordance with GDPR regulations and CNIL requirements.

The implementation was supported by integrator Equans Lieusaint, who delivered solutions perfectly tailored to the municipality’s expectations. Technical teams particularly highlighted the cameras’ image quality and ease of operation.
Considered an operational success, the project has improved public safety, strengthened law enforcement responsiveness, and provided effective surveillance without over-equipping the area. Encouraged by these results, the city is now considering extending this type of solution to additional districts.
