Our certification programme is a blended learning experience consisting of an in-classroom session and a final exam. The core curriculum is taught over a two-and-a-half-day session that facilitates interaction and hands-on instruction. The programme was developed for security industry design professionals and technical salespeople. Our curriculum will teach you the latest in network video surveillance technologies, increase your proficiency in Hanwha products and allows you to adopt best practices for installation and implementation of video surveillance solutions.

Becoming a Certified Video Professional

After successfully passing your final exam, you will be able to print your Hanwha Vision Video Professional Certificate and download the digital badge. The camera you used during the course is yours to keep, allowing you to continue your learning or use it as a demo camera.

Seats for our instructor-led training sessions are limited so don't delay! A payment is the only way to guarantee your seat. Registration will close 48 hours prior to each event. Video Professional Certification is valid for three years. Before your certification expires, you can renew it by taking the required online courses and passing the exam at the Hanwha Vision Learning Centre.

If a STEP Partner loses their Video Certified Professional for whatever reason, the employer is able to send a different employee to Video Professional Certification at no cost for up to one year from the date of the certification class. Please contact us at training@hanwha.com to make arrangements.

Video Professional Certification (VPC) Cancellation and Refund Policy


1. Due to limited seats, we request that you cancel at least 5 days prior to the scheduled certification class. This gives us the opportunity to fill the class. You may request cancellation by sending an email to training@hanwha.com. Please write "VPC Cancelation" in the subject line. If you cancel your participation in the class, you will be given a full refund or credit towards a future VPC class.


2. Enrolled students may be changed at any time prior to the start of class as long as they are within the same company.


3. The VPC Training Team will review all cancellation requests and reserves the right to make the final determination on all refunds and credits.
