Taking action on climate change
We assess the climate impact of our operations and continuously work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve energy efficiency.
Environmental experts at our Pangyo R&D Center and Vietnam manufacturing site oversee compliance, energy use, emissions, and overall environmental performance. Our environmental management system is reviewed annually to address customer, community, and regulatory expectations.
Reducing greenhouse gas emissions
Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) guide carbon footprint management across the product lifecycle. We are expanding renewable energy use through on-site solar installations, alongside ongoing improvements in operational efficiency.
Complying with global environmental regulations and standards
We monitor and comply with regulations such as EU REACH and RoHS, and transparently disclose material information to support product safety and compliance.
* EU REACH Compliance: Our cameras and storage devices are classified as finished products and do not require substance registration. The concentration of SVHCs (Substances of Very High Concern) does not exceed 0.1% by weight.
Advancing recycling and resource efficiency
We reduce manufacturing waste through stronger recycling practices and increased use of recyclable materials, including packaging made with more than 50 percent reused pulp. Products follow EU WEEE standards and are designed for easier disassembly and improved recycling efficiency.
Managing pollutants and hazardous substances
Air emissions from manufacturing processes are treated and monitored in line with legal requirements. All chemical substances undergo evaluation and controlled management, supported by dedicated response teams and routine safety training.
Environmental consideration from the start
Environmental criteria are integrated early in product development and procurement. Hazardous substances are verified, and supplier environmental performance is assessed. Our Vietnam plant is ISO 14001 certified, and cleaner production is promoted through solar power generation and pollutant reduction. Eco-friendly products are labeled with the ECO mark.
