Modular Design

Decoupling core technology from physical infrastructure to provide a scalable, service-friendly foundation for long-term video planning.

Effortless Installation & Upgrades

Hanwha Vision’s modular structure uses magnetic mounting to redefine security infrastructure lifecycles. This design allows technicians to snap new camera modules into existing bases in seconds, drastically reducing “ladder time.” By eliminating complex wiring and screws, it enables fast, intuitive technology refreshes and upgrades without the cost of full-scale construction.

The Anatomy of a Modular System

By separating the camera’s internal “brain” from its protective “shell,” Hanwha Vision allows specialized components to be serviced or upgraded without disturbing the underlying infrastructure.

The Dome Cover

A ruggedized exterior that provides environmental protection and vandal resistance.

The Camera Module

This internal core contains the sensors, lenses, and processing unit. It is the only part that needs to be swapped during a technology refresh or service call.

The Modular Plate & Bottom Cover

The permanent anchor point. Once wired and installed, this component serves as a permanent foundation throughout the system’s lifecycle.

Innovation That Simplifies Infrastructure

Hanwha Vision’s modular design decouples core camera technology from physical infrastructure. This approach optimizes every stage of the product lifecyclefrom streamlined installation and pre-configuration to effortless technology upgrades.

Effortless Installation & Upgrades

Magnetic modules enable fast, tool-free installation and instant sensor upgrades without disturbing existing infrastructure

Enhanced Serviceability

Ensure rapid uptime with zero-disturbance wiring and quick-swap magnetic components for seamless maintenance

Measurable Cost Savings

Lower TCO by reducing on-site “ladder time” and reusing existing housings, mounts, and accessories

Efficiency from Warehouse to Field

The modular design extends beyond the hardware into a specialized packaging structure.
The product package is engineered to provide technicians with direct access to the camera’s network port without removing the module from its protective box. This allows for convenient “pre-staging”setting passwords, IP addresses, and parametersin the office before field deployment, saving hours of on-site labor.

Staged Logistics

The camera module and housing can be handled separately, allowing for a more efficient workflow. Dealers can dispatch housings and mounting plates to the job site for immediate installation by wiring crews. Meanwhile, high-value camera modules stay at the configuration center for programming. This parallel process ensures expensive components arrive only when the site is ready, significantly reducing the risk of theft or damage during construction.
