Hanwha Techwin launches Wisenet Mobile 2.0, enhancing user convenience with new UI/UX

Global security company Hanwha Techwin launched Wisenet Mobile 2.0, a mobile viewer for Android and iOS. When connected to network, Wisenet Mobile 2.0 supports real-time remote monitoring of Wisenet network cameras (P, X, Q, L series) and video recorders (NVR, DVR).
The Wisenet Mobile 2.0, which remarkably upgraded from its previous version, features intuitive UI/UX to greatly enhance user convenience and supports hardware decoding to increase the playback speed and image quality for faster streaming of up to 4K video.
Supporting remote monitoring of up to 16 channels, simultaneous playback of up to 4 channels and live video recording, the new version allows users to seamlessly monitor video in real time monitoring, while the Picture-in-Picture (PIP) feature is added to enable live video monitoring in playback mode.
‘My channel’ setting offers customizable channel management, while enhanced search by date, time, events, bookmarks, and timeline allows fast and precise search of wanted video. Remote PTZ control and maximum 16x digital zoom provide detailed monitoring of desired areas. The new version also supports fisheye camera dewarping, producing high quality images without distortion in various view modes (overview, quad view, panoramic view).

When upgrading to version 2.0, users of previous versions can still maintain the settings they configured before such as registered products, related information and menus.

“Users can download a free Wisenet Mobile 2.0 app to use it on their smart phones anytime anywhere,” said a source at Hanwha Techwin. “Our customers are highly satisfied as they can use the QR code to register products and remote monitor without the need to go through complicated settings. Event push notification also enables swift reaction to situations.”
