Vicente López Builds a Smarter, Safer City for Its Residents with AI-Powered Security

Vicente López is a municipality located in the northern area of Greater Buenos Aires, with a population of approximately 280,000 inhabitants. Known for its commitment to modernizing public management, the municipality has been operating a video surveillance system since 2012. In 2020, it incorporated artificial intelligence to take a decisive step towards intelligent citizen security.

To achieve this, the municipality chose to work with Hanwha Vision, whose robust video analysis solution enabled not only higher levels of security but also the optimization of critical data generation processes for city management.

This cutting-edge solution includes Hanwha Vision‘s 185+ AI cameras, 95+ PTZ cameras, and 20+ multi-sensor cameras, all integrated with Milestone’s VMS.
