*What is a Mullion Mount?
Originally an architectural term, a "mullion" refers to the vertical frame or bar dividing adjacent windows or doors. In the security industry, a mullion mount features an ultra-slim profile (typically 4–5 cm wide), allowing it to be screwed directly onto narrow aluminum or glass door frames without the need to cut large holes in the wall. With a width of just 49 mm, the TID-A800 fits seamlessly onto narrow loading dock doorframes, retail entrances, or slim glass building profiles.

At the core of the TID-A800 is Hanwha Vision's high-performance Wisenet 9 SoC. Powered by a Dual NPU architecture, it delivers AI-based image enhancement for the 5MP high-resolution sensor, extreme WDR (120dB) to overcome challenging backlight conditions, and AI-driven WiseStream technology for efficient bandwidth reduction. Working alongside WiseNRⅡ, the device maintains sharp, detailed footage even in harsh backlight or low-light scenes.
Deep learning-based object classification natively detects and categorizes people, faces, vehicles, and license plates, capturing rich attribute metadata and BestShot images for powerful forensic search. When paired with a VMS that supports similarity search (such as BLAZE), the provided metadata can be utilized to rapidly track individuals of interest across multiple cameras.
Furthermore, intercoms traditionally struggle with visitor identification because wide-angle lenses make faces appear small unless the person stands extremely close. To solve this, the TID-A800 features Adaptive Face Zoom. The device generates a virtual secondary channel that automatically tracks, digitally zooms in, and crops the visitor's face. Operators can choose to view the full wide-angle video or the cropped face-only channel. If multiple visitors arrive simultaneously, the camera dynamically adjusts the zoom to keep all faces within the frame.
Smart Audio Engineering for High-Noise Environments
The TID-A800 is equipped with upgraded dual beamforming MEMS microphones that effectively suppress traffic, machinery, and wind noise, isolating the speaker’s voice to deliver crystal-clear audio to the operator. Coupled with an 84 dB high-output speaker and Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) technology, it guarantees natural, full-duplex two-way communication, even in deafening environments.
The audio output also adapts dynamically to environmental sound levels. The Automatic Volume Control (AVC) feature automatically lowers the volume in quiet settings and boosts it in loud environments to maintain optimal intelligibility. Additionally, a built-in Health Check function allows operators to monitor audio levels and device health remotely, streamlining maintenance and system reliability.
With standard SIP 2.0 protocol support, the device integrates directly with existing VoIP and PBX phone systems.
