Hanwha Vision<\/span>, the global vision solution provider, has opened a new Hanwha<\/span> Innovation Technology Experience (HITE)<\/a> center in Tokyo, strengthening its presence in the world’s fourth-largest security market. This move underscores the company’s heightened focus on capturing a larger share of the Japanese market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new center is Hanwha Vision<\/span>‘s eighth global experience center, joining four in the Americas, one in Europe, and two others in Asia. The video surveillance market in Japan, which is only surpassed by China, the U.S., and India, is currently experiencing a significant increase in the use of AI-based video analytics in various industries, including retail and manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The HITE Tokyo offers an immersive experience for customers and partners, allowing them to explore Hanwha Vision<\/span>‘s latest innovations. The center is organized into five distinct zones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Welcome Zone<\/strong>: This zone introduces visitors to the company’s history and its AI-powered System-on-Chip (SoC), Wisenet 9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • AI Zone<\/strong>: Here, visitors can see a live demonstration of the company’s AI object detection technology, including its ability to search for individuals based on specific criteria like gender, clothing color, or glasses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Product Zone<\/strong>: This zone showcases a wide variety of products, such as high-resolution cameras, cameras with built-in Dynamic Privacy Masking (DPM), and cameras optimized for low-light conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Solution Zone<\/strong>: This zone focuses on advanced, customized AI solutions for three key sectors: factories, retail, and transportation. Examples include forklift and worker detection for safety, customer traffic analysis using shopping carts detection and illegal U-turn detection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Hybrid Zone<\/strong>: This space is dedicated to technical training, where Hanwha Vision<\/span> plans to host workshops for partners and conduct tailored demonstrations for clients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
